Mary is not only the founder of My Fit Mommy, but also the mother of two very energetic little boys and a baby girl. Mary has been involved in fitness and exercise for over 15 years and is grateful for the opportunity to incorporate fitness and exercise with spending quality time with her husband and three children. Through Mary’s innovative, challenging, and fun classes you’ll experience her motivating attitude to keep you dedicated and excited about staying fit!
A message from Mary: ”After the birth of my sons, I knew I wanted to be a stay at home mom so I could enjoy my children and be a special part of their growth and development. After a while, I desired a little adult interaction without sacrificing time with my children, so I went on the hunt for a program that combined me, my kids, interacting with other mothers, AND getting in better shape without having to dish out a million bucks for a private trainer and a babysitter. Unluckily for me at the time, I wasn’t able to find anything to fit my needs… thus, My Fit Mommy was born!”

TRACY HAYES - Stroller Fitness Instructor, Certified Personal Trainer, Pilates & Yoga Instructor, Reiki Healer
Tracy’s vast involvement in the fitness industry ranges from in-home personal training to group fitness classes to yoga & Pilates training for Professional Athletes. Tracy brings her experience with pre and post natal fitness and her energetic spirit to mommies looking to keep their pre-pregnancy bod and meet new friends! “It’s so rewarding to see my clients’ excitement when they slip easily into their ‘skinny jeans’ or when they discover their true potential and start putting in that extra umpff needed to succeed. I’m one of those people who likes to have fun while I sweat and because I personally need variety in my life, we’ll never do the same class twice! Tracy’s peppy attitude and unconventionally creative ways will trick you into awesome shape by distracting you with fun exercises and even whackier stories!
CARRIE TARTAGLIA – Zumba Instructor
Carrie has her Masters in Education and has previously taught middle school in Rye, NY for 10 years before deciding to become a stay at home mom of two boys. She currently resides in West Hartford with her family. Carrie is a certified Zumba and Zumbatomics (Zumba for Kids) instructor who has a passion for teaching children the value of a healthy lifestyle. She has recently been featured on Better CT as a premier Zumba teacher in Connecticut. Through Carries active and fun classes, she hopes to teach others that being healthy isn’t boring! She loves teaching Zumba… a perfect combination of fitness and fun!
KRISTA MRAZ – Stroller Fitness Instructor
Krista has been teaching group fitness classes for 14 years. She received her AFAA certification in Los Angeles, where she was also trained as a step aerobics, kickboxing, yoga, and pilates instructor for 24 Hour Fitness. Since moving back to the east coast (she is originally from upstate NY), she has taught group fitness classes for UCONN, the Mansfield Community Center, and more recently LA Fitness in South Windsor. Krista lives in Manchester with her husband and three adorable children, Isabella (6), Liliana (4), and Finn (5 months). When she is not teaching for My Fit Mommy, she works as a clinical psychologist at a private practice in Glastonbury, where she does pediatric neuropsychological assessment.
Bessy got her start in the fitness industry teaching group exercise while a student at UCONN. Since then she has acquired more experience and certifications including AFAA Primary Group Exercise Certification
